Outside In Film, NYC (premiere).

Not since Banksy’s ‘Exit’ has UKB been quite as excited about a film on street art as it has about Alex Stapleton’s ‘Outside In’.

A “celebratory and historical look at street art through the lens of MoCA’s groundbreaking exhibition ‘Art in the Streets'”.

A tagline that will raise some eyebrows amongst the hardcore street artists. Should street art stay on the street? It appears now to have a ‘right’ and certain to be in a gallery, but do the artists operating on the streets want their art to be there? Isn’t there something unique to street art that’s lost when it’s brought inside the 4 walls of an exhibition?

‘Outside In’ will be an interesting watch, that’s for sure.
