As 2011 draws to a close, so does the Wedding Walls project – a mural project conceived this year to bring more art to some of the blank walls of the Wedding district in Berlin. Over the course of the project, artists such as BLO and Victor Ash have been involved in painting some really nice murals, as expected.

The last of the walls at Turiner Strasse 19 was painted by James Bullough and Karl Addison, in an interesting location. (All photography – including featured image – courtesy of Lucky Cat).

James and Karl had this to say about their latest creation;

“Our image and color palette were carefully chosen in order to be respectful of the cemetery which lies beneath and the people from the neighborhood who will interact with it daily. We wanted to paint something beautiful to watch over the street and the cemetery but also something interesting and captivating for the viewers to enjoy.”
