El Mac (aka Miles MacGregor) recently visited Ho Chi Minh City to paint and chat to ‘Viet Nam – The World Tour’ about his art, and creative inspirations. A really interesting watch.
Additionally El Mac speaks of the challenges of painting in Viet Nam, mainly the scarcity and rising cost of good paint. The locals have adapted caps in order to overcome the problems associated with the low-grade paint cans they have…very impressive!

Here’s a little more about VNTWT from their website; “Viet Nam The World Tour is a movement of creative thinkers, artists, writers, performers, filmmakers, documentarians and cultural producers whose creative engagements attempt to challenge a global status quo.
The World Tour began as a project meant to fill a void for youth living in Viet Nam, and elsewhere, by acting as a bridge for real interactions between themselves and modern day mentors, educators, and influencers. Now it is a movement.” UKB.
it has changed my view on this way of expressing oneself–thank you for posting it.
No problem, glad you enjoyed the post and video and found it valuable. Nice to know that blogging can have that effect. Thanks for checking UKB out!
