Edinburgh based artist, and street art veteran, Elph‘s show at London’s XOYO gallery in East London late last year looked like a great event. Gamma Proforma’s GP2011 series concentrated on UK artists that operate in 2 different types of media. In this case, Elph works as both an artist on walls or paper, but also as his alter ego Pilot Nishiko’s sound works are derived from his paintings, “transcribing patterns and strokes to midi signals.”
