A few weeks back, supporting the final days of Jimmy Cauty’s Aftermath Dislocation Principle tour, Edinburgh artist Elph (who I’ve featured a few times lately) did a live painting session on the cobbles of the Grassmarket.
Along the theme of the riotous scenes inside Cauty’s shipping container, Elph threw together a similarly anarchic scene from my own home town. I caught him on the second day of painting nearing the end, and got a few flicks and some videos of the work in progress.
