Edinburgh’s newest legal graffiti spot, the Marine Parade wall a mere stone’s throw from Ocean Terminal, was the focus for artists of all genre at the end of last month here in the capital.

The partnership between The State (Leith), Mainline, Spectrum Arts, Boardwalk and the City of Edinburgh Council got things off to a solid start with Rock the Dock in the final days of summer – and followed up with another excellent event – Shock the Dock – to give things a Halloween twist.

Again some of the most talented artists in Scotland took to all 330m of concrete to showcase their own take on Samhain – from letters to characters, figurative to abstract – Shock the Dock had it all.

Check out the best work on display in the gallery below – and shout out if you can help me ID the missing artist names.
